Will you comfort me, in my time of need?
Can you take away the pain of a hurtful deeds?
Cause when we need it most, there's no rain at all
And the dust just settles right there on the feed
Will you say to me, "A little rains gonna come."
When the sky can't offer none to me
Cause I will come for you
When my days are through
And I'll let your smile just off and carry me
I want to go to Magnolia Mountain
And lay my weary head down
Down on the rocks
On the mountain my savior made
Steady my soul and ease my worry
Hold me when I rattle like a hummingbird hummin'
Tie me to the rocks on the mountain my savior made
Lie to me
Sing me a song
Sing me a song until the morning comes
If the morning comes, will you lie to me
Will you take me to your bed
Will you lay me down
Till I'm heavy like the rocks on the riverbed
That my savior made

has no one noticed this?
So, I can't get enough of my new favorite website, TV Links... It is so awesome, I can't believe I had never heard of it before yesterday. But now, thanks to technology and this amazing site, I was able to watch my very first episode of Fraggle Rock ever today!!! I wanted to see what all the hype was about, and as always, try to catch up on things I missed out on during the 80s.
So, I picked the first episode they had listed (Wembley and the Gorgs) and started watching. But the man in the show looked and sounded very very familiar... who could it be?? It took me a while and then I placed it!! Sure enough, IMDB confirmed that Gerard Parkes, who played "Doc" in episodes of Fraggle Rock, was also "Doc" the bartender in Boondock Saints ("F-CK!! ASS!!")!! I would have thought some of my friends that actually got to watch Fraggle Rock would have immediately noticed this, but apparently not. Either that or they didn't want to tell me!
I wonder what else I will discover through TV Links...

More than meets the eye...
oh man... so... at first this looks like just a list of all the episodes of the original Transformers animated show, right? And that is awesome...BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! Every one of those links goes to the video from the original episode!!! some of them have been deleted though... but still! Getting to watch even one is amazing!
Now I can catch up on all that stuff that happened in the 80s that I missed...

I want to be the bluebird singing
Singing to the roses in her yard
The roses in her yard her father grew for her
It's been raining that Tennessee honey
So long I got too heavy to fly
Ain't no bluebird ever gets too heavy to sing
And lay my weary head down
Down on the rocks
On the mountain my savior made

Everyone in this room is now dumber...
Good grief! Fox News, seriously... did you really just waste two minutes seconds of my life teaching me how to create a shortcut on my desktop? Ridiculous.
the good life
And I don't wanna be an old man anymore
It's been a year or two since I was out on the floor
It's time I got back, it's time I got back
And I don't even know how I got off the track
I wanna go back, yeah!

We get to carry each other...
Is it getting better, or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now...
You got someone to blame...
Did I disappoint you, or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love and you want me to go without
Well it's too late... tonight
To drag the past out into the light...
We're one... but we're not the same
Will it make it easier on you now...
You got someone to blame...
Did I disappoint you, or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love and you want me to go without
Well it's too late... tonight
To drag the past out into the light...
We're one... but we're not the same

golden road
Take it like a man they said
Take your medicine
Find a golden road and stand
Then I saw exactly what they meant.
Find my homeboys on the dusky road
Who couldn't give a should about their life
Heed their words of faded brown
Then live it and sing about their strife.
Then bring your song to the river at sunrise
Sing that song 'til the river runs clean
It will happen to you As its happened to me
Won't you sing that lovely song for me
It's alright mama
Let your children be loud
Watch them run into trouble
So they can figure it out
We spread our seeds far 'cross this land
Hoping they'd fall on good ground.
A vaccination in the sun and rain shine
And take a good long hard look around.
Then bring your song to the river at sunrise
Sing that song 'til the river runs clean
It will happen to you
As its happened to me
Come clean with me...
Take your medicine
Find a golden road and stand
Then I saw exactly what they meant.
Find my homeboys on the dusky road
Who couldn't give a should about their life

it makes life unfair
I've given up, on giving up slowly
I'm blending in, so you won't even know me
Apart from this whole world that shares my fate
This one last bullet you mention
Is my one last shot at redemption
Cause I know, to live, you must give your life away
And I've been housing all this doubt and insecurity
And I've been locked inside that house, all the while, you hold the key
And I've been dying to get out, and that might be the death of me
And even though there's no way of knowing where to go,
I promise I'm going
Because
I gotta get outta here
I'm stuck inside this rut that I fell into by mistake
I gotta get outta here
And I'm begging you to be my escape
I'm blending in, so you won't even know me
Apart from this whole world that shares my fate

pop
I can understand why my aunt Lucile loves Jeopardy, I do too. But if it were more like this, not only would I enjoy watching it more, but I would get into it more and would be completely convinced that I could rock it if I ever got on the show.
I know that I am the only one who would be really good at it. And judging by some of the questions they got wrong... it would be so easy to take them down
