i am in the process of re-formatting my entire music library on iTunes and my iPod. this is quite an undertaking and is going to take a long time. i have finished all the formatting, now i just have to redo all my playlists, which are messed up now. this will take a while.

going to the DC United game tonight. that will be a lot of fun. it has been a while since i have gone to one of those games. unfortunately, because of the US U20 international tournament going on right now, i dont believe that Freddy Adu will be at the game tonight. that is unfortunate and is a little disappointing because watching him play is a lot of fun. its ok, we will still have a good time, and there are friends from Williamsburg coming up to see the game too.

i am not yet prepared to release my opinions regarding the Michael Jackson verdict, but i am sure that the tirade and/or response will not remain suppressed for very long.

in other news, my final last-ditch effort to heal my shoulder injury which has been plaguing me since February of this year, and is linked to an injury that occurred two years ago, has lead me to see Dr Nancy Shaw. she practices myofacial muscular treatment. this involves the use of pressure points and pain patters in the muscle groups to release tension in my shoulder. she says that three of the four rotator cuff muscles in my shoulder are jammed or damaged and have now been taught to operate in the wrong way. they now have muscle memory for motion that was done to protect areas that had been hurt, so now it hurts alot to move it in ways that oppose that muscle memory. so her treatments involve hardcore massage and pressure with her elbow deep into my muscles to try to loosen them up. i also have to do a lot of stretching to try to free up the restraint in my shoulder. long story short, this is a very painful type of treatment, but i am convinced and try to believe that some pain now will allow me to use my arm and shoulder again and be free from persistent pain. so we will see. once this is done i wont have to be travelling up and down I-95 multiple times in one week either. sigh. oh well.

the wonderful drinking game, dare i say sport, of FlipStick, invented in a stroke of genius in Acapulco, Mexico by myself, has begun to spread and gain popularity across the country.



first it caught on in Mexico. the raging wildfire that swept across the prairie of fun, competitive drinking games. a world that had been yearning for innovation and creativity for a long time. From there, the FlipStick phenomenon had a brief debut in Williamsburg, VA. it was like a test screening of the next great Spielberg film. a brief preview before it hits the mainstream. Then the game was taken to the Dispensing Company in Lancaster, PA where many friends and acquaintences discovered the joy and excitement of playing this great game, with altered rules for the special situation, that modification called Speed FlipStick. Stories and reports of the game spread quickly, more amd more people wishing to play. Yet it was not until last night that it was completely released to the public at the Green Leafe's mug night in Williamsburg. A wide range of friends and strangers packed around the circular table and joined in the wonderful competition and revelry. Beer was drunk, laughs were had, and a general sense of enjoyment and fun filled the bar because of this exciting game. it attracted the attention of many of the other customers, wishing that they could play as well. multiple times during the course of the matches it was expressed that this is an amazing game or the best drinking game ever invented. I will whole-heartedly agree. As the game gains more popularity, i will post the official rules online, defined by myself of course, in order to further expedite the distribution of this great drinking game. Until then, you will just have to come play a round with me some time in order to learn about it.

Steve Jobs continues to do it. he continues to defy the world and then entire market by innovating and creating new and exciting opportunities for consumers to become loyal to Apple. there was an article in PCWorld about the different alternatives to the Windows monopolozing OS, which can be found here

and i got the privilege to watch one of the most exciting events of the year. whe Worldwide Developers Conference (or WWDC). this is where Steve Jobs has a huge presentation of all the things that are going on and the plans for the future, showing how much he is planning ahead for the future and how far ahead he is of the competition. he is selling the innovation and production of the Apple corporation to these developers so that they will get excited and get on board. here is the link to the video. i wont spoil any of the surprises, and it is a long video so you have to watch the whole thing.
